Historic Rogersville Getaway


It was a great opportunity to kick off 2015 with our Getaway Package to Historic Rogersville on Saturday January 24. The special package included a visit and tour of Certified Organic and Non GMO JEM Farm, followed by a guided tour of the Tennessee Newspaper & Printing Museum, a 5 course dinner with wine pairings complimenting each course was prepared by Chef Jimmy Ellis of the AAA 5 Diamond boutique hotel The St. Regis in Atlanta, and overnight accommodations and a full breakfast Sunday morning were provided at the Hale Springs Inn.

Sweet potato biscuit, bacon jam, honey peppercorn butter

1st Course

Homemade Meatball, Italian grits, smoked tomato gravy, crispy parmesan

2nd Course

Creole bbq shrimp, JEM farm egg pasta, oven dried tomato, house smoked tasso butter

3rd course

Sorghum and root beer glazed pork belly, sweet potato puree, collard green spring roll, cider vinegar jus

4th course

Croissant bread pudding, bourbon marinated cherries, vanilla ice cream,

sea salt and fresh thyme caramel, shaved chocolate
